Tomato Gravy
As I mentioned in my earlier post, my mom and Nanny make this tomato gravy to eat with biscuits. I’m going to make this tomorrow for the first time. I called my mom to get the recipe; it goes a little like this:
take some bacon grease, 2 or 3 tablespoons (keep a jar of this in the fridge)
use plain oil if you don’t have bacon grease, but it’s not as good.
put it in a skillet!

This reminds me of my mom’s (and nanny’s) tomato gravy, which I’m gonna make tomorrow. We ate tomato gravy with biscuits, and it’s so delicious it makes me eat about 10 biscuits, so I should probably not eat it too often.
I think I’ll have to try this jam recipe sometime, so I’m saving it here.
